Interview with Rob Sachs

Rob Sachs is the managing partner of the Philadelphia law firm of Shrager & Sachs. His practice is limited exclusively to plaintiffs’ complex personal injury claims including nursing home, medical malpractice, truck wreck, and product liability cases as well as select mass tort claims.

Rob served for five years as one of Pennsylvania’s Governors on the Board of the American Association for Justice, from 2010-2013 he served as Chair of the Publications Committee which publishes Trial magazine. From 2011-2012 he was elected Chairman of the AAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group. In 2012 he completed a three year term on the Board of the AAJ Truck Litigation Group. Rob has served for over a decade on the Board of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice as well as the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers’ Association.

A frequent national lecturer and author on trucking and nursing home issues, Rob’s publications include: “From the Operating Room to the Boardroom”, Trial, October, 2013; “Teaching Teens about Safe Driving,” Trial, February, 2012; “Txt msgs and other driving distractions”, Trial, February, 2008; and “Mediation in the New Millennium – Brotherly Love Lost?” which appeared in the Summer 2011 issue of Verdict, the publication of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers.

He also served on the Board of Directors of Public Justice Foundation (headquartered in Washington, D.C. and Oakland, CA) and The Lawyers’ Club of Philadelphia. He previously served on the Board of the SeniorLaw Center (headquartered in Philadelphia, PA).

Rob has also served as a Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Disciplinary Board, hearing committee member since 2017. In 2016, he was elected Vice President of the Twin Lakes Property Owners’ Association and he was President from 2017 – 2019.
