Meet John L. (Lin) McCraw

Lin’s foremost concern throughout his career has been bringing justice to those who are most likely to harmed. Over the years, his general practice morphed into a specialization in personal injury trial law. In that context, Lin has been involved in some of the most significant personal injury cases that his clients will ever see. Wrongful death, brain injury, and a myriad of other serious injury cases are some of the cases that his firm, the McCraw Law Group, typically prosecutes.

Lin has been extremely involved in the Texas Trial Lawyers Association for the last 20 years holding a myriad of positions in the organization from committee level, executive level, long term member of the Board of Directors, and has served on the Executive Committee for about 10 of those years. By position, Lin has served as Vice President of Membership, Political Affairs three times, and Legislative Affairs during the 2015 legislative session. In 2017, Lin was the President of TTLA also during a legislative year and has completed his service as immediate past president. Throughout his time at TTLA, Lin has focused on protecting Texas citizens from bad laws and by encouraging and educating young lawyers in their trial skills and legislative advocacy.

Lin is also a long term member of the American Association of Justice.

Lin attended Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in 2003 in the company of 50 of the finest trial lawyers anywhere.
